Couldn't recommend more for a city trip

Charming hotel, welcoming staff, the breakfast selection was delightful and the fitness center was a fantastic way to start my day before setting off to explore the scenic trails 79 km away.

The property felt private and scenic, surrounded by tall trees. The massive pool was spacious enough for all guests, providing a relaxing environment. I particularly appreciated the delicious food at the restaurant, which exceeded my expectations.

Staying in the Pool House Standard King for two nights was a fantastic experience. The sauna and massive pool provided perfect relaxation spots, and the grounds were stunningly beautiful. I especially loved indulging in the risotto at the restaurant, which truly impressed me with its flavor. However, there were some issues with limited dining options and a slightly unwelcoming morning reception staff that could use improvement.

Callicoon Hills boasts lovely rustic decoration, making the shared spaces feel inviting and grounded in nature. I appreciated the staff's attentiveness, and the expansive grounds offered excellent accessibility for leisurely strolls among the trees.

More seating in shared areas would be beneficial.
